How to Clear WordPress Cache in your Website?

Do you want to clear the WordPress Cache in your Website?

If your website doesn’t get updated to the latest changes you have made, it may be due to the outdated WordPress Cache files. In this tutorial, we will learn to clear WordPress cache.

What is Cache and how does it work?

When you visit a website, the browser of your site automatically records static contents such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and images. Those datas are stored as a cache file in the local storage of the site. So, when you visit the same website again, it loads faster. The reason being the parts of the content stored in the site.

In simple words, the browser of your site will create few requests to the server and it is not necessary to download the content of the site again. Hence, caching is also considered to be one of the best ways to improve the performance of the site.

In addition, you can simply set the time range for all the cache files to be stored in your site. For example: if you see the expiry time of the HTML to be one six months, all the cached HTML will be automatically cleared after one year from your site. But, setting a longer interval of the time might stop or prevent you from seeing the updated version of the sites.
