Install and Use WPForms WordPress Plugin

There are several ways to password protect the WordPress forms but the easiest one is to install a WordPress plugin. In this method you just need to use the WPForms plugin. Let’s begin the step by step guide. 

First of all you need to login to the Dashboard of your WordPress website. Then Install and Activate WPForms plugin

Almost every website owner have their form ready. But if you haven’t done so and you need to set up your form go through our article create a contact form in your WordPress website

After that install the Form Locker addon for the WordPress Forms. Now go to WPForms>>Addons option at the left sidebar of the page.

Then you need to search for Form Locker. Once you see it, click on the Install Addon option. 

Now go to WPForms>>All Forms option. Once you get the form that you want to protect click on the form name to begin the Editing process. 

Click on the Settings option. Inside the Settings option, you can see the Form Locker option. Next tick the Enable password protection box.

Now you will be able to enter a password. Be sure to keep a strong password. Along with the password, you can also display some important information as a message if you want to do so.

Click on the save button to set the password that you have entered. 

After protecting your WordPress Forms with password the visitors of your website will be able to see the posts and pages but not the Form.
