- Click on Lost your Password link
This will direct you to another page where you will be asked to provide your WordPress username or the Email ID you used to create the site.
- Enter your username or the password
- Click on the Get New Password Button
After you enter a valid username or the Email ID, WordPress will send you an email to the Email address associated with it. You will also receive ‘Check your email for the confirmation link’ notification on the login screen.
After you see the notification on your page, check your Email box. You will see a mail with the subject [Your Blog Title] Password Reset.
You might not get the mail immediately, so, you need to wait for a few minutes. Even after that, if you don’t get the Email, then check your Spam or Junk Mail folder.

If this was a mistake, just ignore this email and nothing will happen.
To reset your password, visit the following address:
- Click on the link to reset your password.
When you click on the link, it will direct to your WordPress website page and ask you to enter a new password for your WordPress account.
You can use the suggested password or create your own password. It is better if you have a strong password.
- Click on Reset Password.
After you reset a password, you will see a notification ‘Your password has been reset. Log in.
